Optical Hat Replacement Request

I dont know about any of you...but ir eally hate that hat. If any of you guys could think of something that would look cool enough that you would want to wear it and want everyone else to be wearing it as well... i could use some help. I was thinking perhaps a black maat's cap? Would it be possible for someone to make that?

I dont want to be critical but from the picture it looks like the cap has been fashioned out of some black metal =p Is there any way to keep that soft fabric look and still make it really dark grey or black? The front white part would look better in a greyish as well to match the hat.

Even if it doesn't look perfect, I'd take that over the epic failure that is the Optical hat any day. Damn thing's an eyesore.

Im working on a replacment for my O-Hat, i want to keep the Shape Cuz its kinda Vampire Hunter like but i want to re color it with a totally new design.

Yes, I will make it for all races and genders because it is so easy to do.

Umm...what is the big deal with people hating O.hat? @_@ I like it, it's kinda big, covers up your face and the colors aren't that bad...but every single person except me seems to think it's retarded looking. I saw it when I first went to Jeuno and liked it a lot, and although I haven't gone to fight the NM yet, whenever I'm not in exp I'd be wearing it on mnk...I know it's just personal taste, but I really didn't think it was ugly x_x

Something about a melee class walking around in heavy armor and a steeple shaped cloth hat that even the most hardcore mage wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole just puts me off. That and I'm pretty sure the devs made it look horrible on purpose just to see how many people would use it despite the eyesore that it is. It has become the biggest inside joke at the SE offices.

By the way, those hats look very nice. I'll be replacing my dats with those ASAP.
