I am sure some of you might remember this one.
This was from one of my very first posts here. it is so so so bad. lots LOTS of clipping bugs this one had.



And this is what it became.
I reformated and lost the first model. so i started from scratch. I thought to myself. that i could do much much better if i wanted to.This one took alittle under an hour. which surprised me since the first one on top took me a couple of days. just goes to show you that with more practice and the tips you learn from this board and FFXIDats.com that you can get much better.




And I am sure alot of people remember me being an asshole( Proof: Here)about it, but if you still would like to have this model. I will put up for download.I know i know about the clipping with her dress, but as far as i know FFXI Doesnt like dresses, so this is the best, that i can do for her. sorry >.<

it would be great if someone could make her face to go along with it.

It's weird. It looks like she's wearing pink pants on her legs, and there's a hollow sheet of pink dress around her waist. Then it's like, her pink pants are just clipping through the pink dress thing. Is that all VRS does?

Anyway, that outfit is horrible in the first place, so my opinion is clouded and so on.

Sorry you dont care much for it Tsikuro. I am sure some of the heavy weights around here could do better. but that is about the limit of my skill for making her outfit.

Not many know how to make a long dress/skirt work, so I applaud the effort. Maybe changing the hide values in VRS would help?

Really nice work, and yeah to make a dress work just right.. you'd have to set weights on the dress, hide values all over the place... its madness O_o

As I suspected I found the dats

Thought it was weird with a thread with only pictures.

Now I need to figure out how to convert this to mithra. Or better yet, someone else who actually knows converting models do it

I am very happy that alot of people like it. It would be great if one of the big dogs around here could do a face to go along with it. I dont like doing faces. and barely like doing hair. so i will leave that up to others.




Some remember me some might not. but i can tell you one thing. Once i reformated, i had to go get all tools back. And i haven't gotten VRS back yet. The agrrivation that thing has caused me in the past is unlimitless. that is all done with adobe, and meta.Even tho I have gotten the hang of VRS, I am still reluctant to use it. I have one project in mind, a new hair mod for hume. that requires VRS to do. ( for adding more hair strands, making it flow with setting weights. ) And I just dont want to do it because of the anger VRS Can cause me sometimes. long long long import times. making a error and basically starting over. so out of pure laziness is why i havn't touched VRS Again yet.

So i dont mind at all to give tips and what not . because like i said i didnt use VRS, just adobe (Gimp) and the regular meta thing. so even people starting out could of made this one. and then when you got better you could touch it up with VRS. but there is many good tutorials out there now. stickied. and they are very very detailed. worth a good read.



This Aeris mod was done from scratch within little before an hour. Very very easy, since i learned so many tips and tricks. I would be glad to help some one with a project, or even do a custom project for someone. if it is reasonable tho. just send me a PM. I am not the best at this. but i will try.



And about the clipping on her dress. oh yes. there is some funk. but with the tools i had ( No VRS now ) thats the best i could do. amatter of fact, the dress and clipping pparts is what took about half the time i worked on it. I made her have pink pants on under it. so when there is clipping. at least it is the same color. ( I could of made the skirt thing wider. and fatter. but once i saw that. it made her look very very fat. so that was a no go. and even that had clipping.)
Also i did it in a rush. and the detail for her breasts( Bust Or whatever ) Was ment for a guide line and i would come back later to fix it. just noticed that in the picture that i forgot to do that. so yeah. lol

( Even with VRS, I doubt that I could do the weights right. i would have to play with it for hours. and i would , honestly, would of gave up before i found the right weights for each points. VRS Is a pain. BUT it is very very handy. Thanks kilandor for translating it. big big big props to you. that stuff isnt easy.)
