| Junior Member | First .Dat reskin http://members.shaw.ca/noah/Raptorset.jpg Here's my first reskin of the Raptor/Dino Jerkin set (well it's my first reskin of anything really), using Amaduns guide and trying to learn a bit of the basics and the Raptor model for the similarity to the Lizard armour and the sheer boring look of the original Raptor one in the first place. I still haven't learned alpha-mapping yet so I didn't modify the armour itself, and although I wanted to add Raptor feathers to stick out, I don't know how to make them pop out in 3D as opposed to being a flat texture so they were out too. In fact... I'm so new to this I don't know where exactly to find the .dat of the model I've done, and am assuming automatically replaces the correct .dat in my file seeing as how the model viewer brings this up instead of the normal one. Learned alot about stuff either way. |
