I just had a huge fall in frame rate when I enter this zone... the same way I had with sky. Replacing music file on sky fix my problem up there, I think i'll need to do the same here
can anyone point me to the music file for arrapago reef please?

Saddly atm no one can because the .bgw is in ATRAC-3 format which some say is hard to crack. It was 1st used in the end CoP music's and now it cant even be read. Soo ya cant even replace it I dont think.

You bring up a good point, It the best way to test out your .dat you replace and on top of all that you can zone and it should load up the .dat BGW depending on you got it right or not.

I decided to take Lucres's advice and made a list of what Ive found. Extracting them is hard but they can be moved with other music but not the conventional way. As for mp3's of these, its gonna be a long shot for them but there might be an alternate way. Ill have to get back to ya on that. Anyhow heres the list of the ToA music.

Ya seems the CG movie wasnt an exact movie afterall. Plus now ya have the unknown CoP tracks.

Out of my experience over the years with the music of FFXI, I have to say ToA is the best of the best in the FFXI soundtracks. Ill try to start making some of these into MP3's when I can. Enjoy!

I have an ATRAC-3 to Mp3 converter, but sadly I lack Aht Urhgan, seeing as I haven't played in months...if anyone could send me the files, I'd gladly convert them into Mp3 format...

Hello,

I'm an 'Allakhazam Refugee' thats just getting used to the forums here. Anyway this is something I put together a week or 2 ago and posted on Alla. I don't know if this has already been cross-posted here on FFXIonline or not but it can't hurt.

Anyway, all TAU and the last 2 COP BGWs were encoded in ATRAC3 format, which is rather unfriendly to modding and swapping. So I put this together:

This links to a ZIP file containing all the TAU and the 2 COP BGWs in NON-ATRAC3 format as well as a short TXT file with brief instructions. Meaning they can be freely swapped and can be used with the WinAmp plugin. The only problem I've found so far is that the 'pitch' is off when used with WinAmp (this is a problem I've tried to fix but I cant get around what seems to be a proprietary bit-rate). They work flawlessly in game though.

Anyway, try swapping out the BGW for Arrapago Reef from the ZIP file (backup the original), that may fix your problem.

I can confirm the Reef problem it happens to me and Ayianna also. I'm guessing its a problem with the encryption on them. Or some type of Memory leaking cause by certain songs. Turring off our sound fixed the problem. Also we had the same problem in the middle CS's of the Blue mage quest at the end
