Modifying animations?
My apologies if this has already been covered. *^^* I searched pretty much everything I could think of but have had no luck. >.>

Is it possible to modify model animations? For instance, I've lengthened Hume Female 8's hair a bit. Unfortunately, any sort of running/wide movement causes clippage issues. I'd love to find a way to fix actual animations - I have a ton of modified dats that could use a little animation alteration.^^

Pic A is HF8 on a good hair day.
Pic B is HF8 being seriously wounded by killer hair.

Any ideas/suggestions on fixes? Thanks!

hmm, maybe find a way to export the data and use max or maya to edit the animation? of course, you'd have to reweigh EVERY point to edit any of the skeleton animations more than likely, but if you really want to >_<;

Thanks for all the help! The VRS thing looked pretty promising and at least it's a little easier to see *why* the hair is acting as it is. (It's nice to finally understand why my modified HF2 keeps deciding to flop at a 90 degree angle even though there don't appear to be any points there.)

Okay! I think for the time being animation modification seems to be out of my league. But at least now I can work the designs for the hair around it.^^
