there is an alternative however that seems popular and improved, i have not used it but I will link it. AltanaViewer

Move :Left drag or Arrow keys

open the FFXImodelviewer.ini file with notepad and
look for
FFXIPath=C:\Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\
OriginalDatPath=C:\Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\ROM3\

The hair, and all the equipment works fine, but they have no faces. o.O
