Re: Drk/?

The best DRK I've seen so far is the one in the Apocalypse video on youtube. He uses /war, /thf, /sam, /nin, /blu, and /drg at the very end. He made full use of his absorb spells, and drain. Didn't really see him using nukes all too much but who knows, maybe if someone needs a low lvl NM killed, he can have fun using Thunder II.

Also depending on how well the DRK is geared, he could have macros to swap out equipment to suit each individual ability. I had 5 macros for my DRG which including: a Jump Macro, Healing Breath macro, Haste macro, Penta WS macro, and STR/ACC macro for wheeling thrust. Of course it's a lot of work to remember when to swap out gear for almost every single move you make. When your compare to your average Endgame DRK with all the best possible equipment that only uses a macro for WS swap outs as oppose to a macro for *everything*, you can actually make him look like a pansy.

Who knows with enough time doing FoV and praying for a MAB augment, a DRK won't be the best nuker but acceptable in some situations (not endgame). Actually that last line makes little to no sense, I would delete it, but I'm sure someone is going to correct me.

EDIT!!! Same thing goes for /war vs /sam, depending on equips and macros who knows which is better when used to it's full potential.

/sigh

Must be nice, when having five macros seems like a lot.

haha yeah I guess it is to me, because one day when I was doing a nyzul Isle run I kept blinking in and out and someone asked me *how many macros do you got dude*. I thought 5 would be a bit overkill for a DD, don't know if that was meant as something else because we all know mages have a ton of macros.

Or was it that some DDs have a macro for all their JA, WS, blah blah blah.

I was thinking about doing that but I decided against it because with the switching out for macros, I always had more than enough time to scroll through the menu to pick the appropriate WS or JA to match whatever macro I was using, not to mention once you have muscle memory for your JA and WS for a job you always play as, everything just seems natural. Probably why I never made a macro for everything.
