I am trying to figure out which one will help boost ws dmg with 100% tp. Str? or Att? So far I have acc, att, and Str5 but will str boost dmg greatly than Att? I seem to do 600-900 dmg with 100% tp with str5 and a crap load of att. :sweat: Aah and 1 more think, is 12 att better than 2 str? or the same?:confused: |

It depends.. Since our weapons do so much damage, we're near the max of the weapon damage.. weapon damage + str - vit equation.. So adding too much STR doesn't help us too much except for very high def monsters. ATK seems to help the most with WS's, and also seems to up our damage very well against stuff with low-medium def. It's hard to say which is better, but after +10-20 or so STR I don't think DRK's need much more STR and concentrating on ATK gives better returns. |

attack. for a test, have BRD use 2hr and do 2x minuet, you will notice a change, especially on RNG's ws.

the formula's for figuring out WS dmg in this game are *extremely* in depth. (note: this is taken from the GameOver LS forums) http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-Part/6371/memo.html I stumbled across this page here a few days ago and was intrigued by how unnecessarily complicated weapon skill damage is calculated -_-; According to this page, there are two factors in determining the final damage of your final ws dmg: Constant damage: affected by the weapon's D value, the difference between your STR and the enemy's VIT, # of hits in the WS, and the WS's multiplier for the amount of TP you have Variable damage: affected by your stats and level - Each weapon skill has a different multiplier that is applied to the constant damage value. The multiplier for some weapon skills also has different levels at TP100, TP200, and TP300. For example, Savage blade has a multiplier of 1.00 at TP100, 1.75 at TP200, and 3.50 and TP300, while Vorpal blade has a multiplier of 1.00 regardless of TP. - Each weapon skill is variably dependent on different stats when its variable damage is calculated. For example, sidewinder is based on 16% of STR and 25% of AGI. Spin Slash is based on 30% of STR and 30% of INT. I decided not to attempt to translate the formulas and the many variables that are used within the formulas because there is a lack of detailed definitions for some of the variables and I failed to see the logic in some of the formulas. As a result, any further explanation will be rather pointless. However, I'm posting the stats that affect some of the more popular WS's for those who might be interested. the latent effect is already active at all times, until u get 300 points, then it is no longer active. u earn by performing WS on easy prey and above. solo WS = 1point close LV1 renkei = 2points close LV2 renkei = 3points close LV3 renkei = 5points

yeah spiral hell is nice at 300 tp. fight some manti's they got high hp. end with 300 tp spiral and watch the numbers^^

Dmg is now determine by STR and the enemy's VIt !!!! This is base off the weapon you use and I use Balin's sword!!!, which happens to be one of the weapons listed. OMIGAH!!!! Will this affect the SC dmg? or just per swing? Now is Absorb-STR is as important as Absorb-AGI???:confused: Do I cast STR and foget AGI lol? Is attack less important to us Drks now ?? Will the Cost of STR items go up? OMIGAH !!! im freaking out lol cause I spent 1.3 million on Balin's sword AAHHhHHH |
