Hello

Ive been lvling drk abit(had to stop to get balance rings)but my magic is very far behind and at lvl 12 idk if i have much options on wut to lvl it off my elemental and enfeeble are 21 each but my dark is 1 :sweat: i know dark is like the most important one but drain is to costly right now to use and skill up..so would switching to blm and playing it for 12 lvls help to cap my magic? or is my dark just gonna be behind for awhile?

Once you get Drain/Aspir/Bio, it's easy to cap Dark magic. Even easier once you get your absorbs. It's okay for now, it will catch up later. Try to use your TP near the end of fights so you can rest as much as you can.

lol, my enfeebling is terrible, i think its at 7 and im lvl 33....

the only magic that should be capped is dark.

everything else doesn't matter.

however, my enfeebling is at 170 and I only raise it by pulling with poison

the fact you get drk magic 10+ lvls late in your drk career. it is easy to get it capped. once you get drain, aspir, bio. not to mention all your aborbs, an stun. talk to your blm in pt to get the ok to cast bio. otherwise he will cast it also. thus a waste of mp for one of you.

another trick to do is pull with magic. early on i pulled with bio. later on i pulled with poison. an now 20k to a lvl. drk is easily capped. then i will pull with elemental. usually stone. join in on mb. as most my pts get a kick out of it when it caps. then i will pull with poison til i lvl. then i repeat cycle.

dont like doing that. juice it up then. best tips i got...

I think I'm one of the only DRK's on my server with capped enfeeble :D

DRK enfeeble cap is slightly lower then BLM's. It's just enough to sleep dynamis mobs easily, heck I can sleep fafnir sometimes.

at 63 my enfeeble is none existing its about 70 or so and thats only cause my whm is 28

somehow i always seem to cap dark with absorbs drain/aspir and my elementals not far behind cause i always try to get in bursts even tho they only do like 70dmg to the blms 700....

ahwell every little helps i guess

defo as u progress dark skills will get higher and catch up so you dont really have to lvl a blm to keep up, all though having a 17blm in your jobs list is well handy.
