What do lvl 75 DNCs do when no one wants to invite you?

I have a very high lvl DNC to begin with but many of my friends who are 75 on DNC usually just farm or fight some choice NMs. What I want to know, is that all there is for 75 DNC?

yeah I hate to say it, but DNC is not really wanted much at endgame right now. (not count merit parties) level a DD class or a mage class, and have that as an alt, and just use DNC for when you want to do some solo stuff.

If it's anything like DRG, most people cry.

Re: What do lvl 75 DNCs do when no one wants to invite you?

Well, first of all, most people who are high level DNC are also high level something else. So they might be doing things on their other jobs.

I see a lot of people dancing in Campaign, some might just be /DNC, but some are wearing AF.

That being said though, I think SE should look at the balance of jobs actually taken to several kinds of endgame content, and see what they can do to make the jobs that are underused more attractive. It seems to me based on what I see in game that BST, PUP, and DNC are particularly in need of attention.

Re: What do lvl 75 DNCs do when no one wants to invite you?

A well-geared/meritted DNC is still pretty handy for things with lots of small fodder mobs, we have 2 in my shell that ocassionally come as DNC to Limbus or Dynamis, in merits they're a pretty solid addition to a party if they know what they're doing. I still want to try a MP-less merit party of WAR SAM DRK DNC BRD COR with the DNC as the main healer, so that the COR can just fulltime melee rolls.

Don't think the melees would want to lose Haste, and Protect(ra) is nice even on Greater Colibri. For Mamool Ja, Shell(ra) and Barfira would be nice.

Even if that party doesn't switch out someone for a RDM, people probably will get better exp with single melee roll + Corsair's Roll instead of melee roll x2.

Re: What do lvl 75 DNCs do when no one wants to invite you?

Well if its a merit party and the DNC has Haste Samba meritted and Samba enhancing gear it could help. Not as good as real haste but could work. As for the other items thou...Dnc wouldn't be able to help unless they /sub mage, but that probably wouldn't work well enough because the MP would be reintroduced. Guess no MP-less meritting.

that, and the fact that a lone DNC can not main heal -.-

you would need all the TP+ and all the things TP related that DNC can use, to even thing about main healing as one.

Re: What do lvl 75 DNCs do when no one wants to invite you?

Dnc can tank, of course, they can't hold aggro like PLD does, but as a tank. Yes dnc can do.

Dnc have the 2nd highest evasion of all class. Consider you merit the evasion + the face off.
If you have the "tank" buff, you only take faction of damager with 2nd highest evasion. Its basically a tank.

I can solo charybis as a dnc. But i am not sure how high evasion even need to evade HNM But if ninja can do it, so can DNC.
