I dual boxed Charybdis with a dnc and a brd. You all seem to forget that unless other "classes" dnc have the evasion trait of a thf till III, merit upgrade give +16 evasion on its own. If you can get AF2 and Af1 gloves and feets, that's another +5 evasion. I was using melody earings x2 but you can get ethereal + Evasion earing for +5 x 2 and Fenrir stone for +10 evasion. Azoth + eminal tail also add +11 evasion in weapon dagger, since other class beside thf can't use dagger as effective as dnc. Then rest of the gear. Let's set them aside. Dnc is better evasion tank then a ninja without yonin. The best thing about dnc is they can do large heals and "stun"

You know I am a 75 DNC and have been in merit party were I am the main healer so I don't want to hear that a DNC can't main heal. I've also been in low level party with me and another DNC and we sure didn't have any healers in party and we kicked some serious butt. All a DNC needs to have up is Drain Samba I have alot of ACC gear with Tuna Sushi which is the best food for a DNC in a merit party. All we had was a BRD/NIN for pulls me a DNC/NIN, a COR/WHM which he sure didn't do anything but Corsair Roll and ACC Rolls and the rest DD 1 being a WAR/NIN for first voke and we assited him. Well that is all I have to say.
