ack, title is really "level DNC to 75 or SAM to 75?" I rather stick with one as main, instead of two.

I dunno I jsut got my SAM AF gear but I feel I'm not being true to myself. I was one of those who wanted the Dancer job in FFXI and its finally here since late last year, but it's like, lv30+ and I haven't been using it because of the fear of needing money to level NIN and stuff like that. but I got good cheesy but effective parties as DNC/DRG and DNC/WAR, which brought me up
over 30 levels in less than a week!

but it's like, I leveled SAM because it was already closer to 60, but it's like, I should be leveling DNC! I mean SAM has cool AF gear but DNC is jsut so cool and I like its abilities and stuff, although realistically it's not a dependable DD, and it can't raise, tele,
and help people PL and stuff unless they sub WHM when DNC is around the 70s.

so I fear DNC is really all show and no strengths in any category. But I mean I don't care about that so much as just how cool it is to be a DNC in AF gear and all those neat abilities without having to go through the frequent downtime/resting that mages have to go through. plus I can see myself as DNC/SAM much later on just having a good time, especially with Meditate and stuff really bringing in the TP like a river. xD

but ya what do you think? was DNC worth leveling to you? have you found less reasons to use it compared to your other leveled jobs? aaaah I dunno. I think I should stay true to myself and level DNC100%

I just feel guilty cause now all the SAMs and other people that helped me getthe SAM AF might feel betrayed they did all that work for nothing. so I might appear ungrateful to them.......

aaaah if I made my mind up sooner and stuck with it, DNC would be level 70 by now. >.<

Why not just level both? SAM is already relatively close to 75 and all it would do is increase your versatility and value. The more jobs you have levelled the more useful you are to anyone that needs your help.

um um leveling SAM from 60 to 75 feels like leveling from 10-50. that's just too much time and patience for me to do with 2 jobs. It would just take longer for me to settle down and get to the fun parts without going through double the grinding. So that's why if I were to choose to to bring up to 75, it should be DNC since that's the one I prefer, even though SAM is more popular and effective in its usefulness. I mean if I pass on this chance now, I would end up not leveling DNC and that would kind of blow up the main point of buying WOTG. :p

I have my DNC to 75 it was my second job to 75 due to the fact I had 75 PLD before it came out. I love my DNC and I feel that I get more TP as DNC than you could with SAM, but then DNC is my most favorite job I just need to merit it more so far I have Reverse Flourish 4/5. But then any job can be awesome if you have the right gear set up. I don't merit much because I like level different jobs to see how they are. After Reverse Flourish is 5/5 No Foot Rise will be my next. I calculated that in around 2 mins or so I can get 300 TP.

I main'd DNC to 75 for my first 75 ... I <3 DNC. But when I finally got there, I felt as though I'd needed to level something more endgame friendly so I'd be invited for certain events I'd want to get into in order to acquire shinies for DNC, mainly because a vast majority of the community doesn't trust (or understand) DNC ... so I got SAM lvl'd afterwards. SAM really was quite ez/quick to lvl compared to DNC... the later lvl's you get far more invites to party than for DNC. Like I get all my DNC merits mainly from getting into merit party's via my SAM. If you like both do both... they are both very fun jobs to do.
