Dancer "modes"

I'd imagine it functions the same way as Overwhelm with you just being in front of the enemy.

Not sure if Saber Dance warrants a 5/5 or not. It certainly looks like a very good option since by the 3rd minute chances are your DA rate has dropped significantly, and going that long without sambas may be pissing the PT off.

Also, anyone notice they cut out the most synergistic abilities for each "Mode"? No +10 Haste for Saber, and no Cures for tanking... grr!

Actually you can't use cures with Saber and can't use sambas with Fan up, so it's the exact opposite of what you said. With Saber up you do get the haste and with Fan up you get the cures.

2 things Re: Fan Dance.

Can you continue to gain the effects of a Samba and just not be able to recast it? (use Samba, then activate Fan Dance).

Can another DNC or /DNC provide you with Samba effects? Or are you simply unable to place or gain benefits form Dazes on the mob?

Using Fan Dance cancels any active Samba effect.

Whether you can gain the effects of another Dancer's Samba, I don't know. My guess is that that would still work. Fan Dance cancels the Samba buff, but the drain effects come from the debuff.
