"Talk to the female Hume NPC named Laila in Upper Jeuno G-7. Then talk to the Mithra NPC, Rhea, dancing beside her. Go to Southern San d’Oria to the Lion Springs Tavern near the Mog House and talk to the first NPC on the right, Valderotaux. Choose any of the options provided in any order you'd like, and keep doing so till the cutscene ends. Go back and talk to Rhea in Upper Jeuno. After you've spoken to her, travel to Jugner Forest (S) to the pond at I-5 (this spot is best approached via the Batallia Downs maw, since it's on the east side of an insurmountable fence). Click on the “Glowing Pebbles” and you will receive another cut-scene. Finally, head back to Laila in Upper Jeuno and talk to her. Congratulations! You can now become a Dancer. " basically talking, traveling to easy to reach locations (and 100% safe to solo travel, well some Jugner mobs may aggro if too low level and careless. :p ) and clicking on a spot for CS, and heading back and talking and getting the Advanaced Job! I really have to cheer for SE making this job's quest quick and painless compared to all the other adv. job quests |

Scholar is the easiest. But Dancer is up there.

I dunno, RNG and BRD weren't really difficult. RNG: Ride out to a cave, watch a tiger die, take his fangs, go back to windurst, become a RNG. BRD: Buy some parchment, visit two song runes on two beaches, go back to Jeuno and become a BRD. Contrast this with SAM... Run all over the world, fight two NMs, run alllllll the way back to norg and wait 24 hours for your sword to be forged. Or PUP and COR... Walk through the high level death trap known as Caedarva Mire, obtain a Lamian Fang Key (both ways to obtain it can be risky) and go into Arrapago Reef. PUP questers just have to sneak up and check the first ??? on the first boat, COR questers have to use the key to get to the second boat. Of course, when I did PUP and COR, Caedarva Mire was still new and we were just learning about imps and chigoes. Last edited by Omgwtfbbqkitten; 05-25-2008 at 02:01 PM. |

Ranger was pretty damn quick and easy. Chocobo to it, dismount, click bones, wait, click bones again, warp back and finish it. Blue Mage was also pretty easy, although the questions part was apparently annoying for a few people. Probably need sneak items for that, though. Everything in SMN was easy as hell once you got the ruby. Just get a buddy to hop on WHM and teleport you back and forth between zones until you have all the weather effects (you can get Ice from Vahzl, Thunder from Dem, Rain and Wind from Holla, Heat from Altep, Earth from Mea. There is also some overlap, but those are the best chances you have of them). If you don't have all your teleport crystals, that's the more important problem. bbq: personally, I consider BRD 'easy', but I wouldn't say it quite belongs because despite the ease of it, it was kind of a run around. DRK falls into the same category; easy, but kinda long. Last edited by Feba; 05-25-2008 at 02:04 PM. |

Seriously though, if you buy your rolanberries ahead of time you don't even have to zone out to complete the Scholar quest.

All about BST, easiest one ever, NPC is in Jeuno, and all you need is Sneak for Qufim..which is also near Jeuno.

Yeah, SCH wasn't difficult by any stretch of the imagination. But then, SCH AF was probably the easiest of the AFs I've ever done, excluding having to pull out your hair to find the Indescript Markings in Pashhow Marshlands (S) for AF body and the AF3 NM being a complete rat bastard. Dancer was somewhat frustrating for me, but mainly because no chocobos are allowed during wartimes and stuff, plus dancing on that stage in Sandy was the most humiliating thing that happened to me since a long time ago. Dragoon drove me nuts. Had I had warp (or bought tons of warp scrolls) and a HP in San d'Oria, it would have been soooo much easier. You run across the world at least three times. Summoner was a lot meaner though, because it took me three days to get the ruby, and I nearly died of linking leeches once I finally got the drop.

ya SMN can't be excused as easy just because it's cake AFTER you get the ruby. the ruby is the key to even get to the next phase, and really tests your patience waiting for it to finally drop. :p ah well, at least they were merciful with the new job aquiring. |

Getting to Jugner Forest (S) is a fairly harrowing experience if your highest available job level is 30. I actually consider Dancer to be somewhere in the middle for jobs to unlock - about on par with Puppetmaster. Beastmaster is by far the easiest. A couple prism powders and a couple Silent oils will get you 100% safely through the entire quest in less than half an hour, with zero combat involved, and even less if you have help. Ranger is pretty ridiculously easy too. Hop on a chocobo and stare at a tiger until it dies, use a Warp scroll to get back to Windurst, and boom you're done. Icemage |

well ya. but from my experience the ruby is like winning the lottery, I don't think even 1/4 of the population got the ruby drop while they weren't trying to get SMN. even tree cuttings from gobbue farmers is more likely to drop, and more frequently. but ya I'm sure there are people who got the ruby in the first 1-3 mobs. |

I found BRD pretty easy since it was pretty much Teleport-Dem, choco to the Dunes then Teleport-Mea and choco to Bubu. SMN was easy but frustrating. That ruby took a full week to drop and it took a month for me to find fire weather because it rarely seemed to be on when i was online. DNC was pretty easy come to think of it. I didn't use a guide for it so i ran to to total wrong party of Jugner at first. SCH was easy despite me having to go all the way back to a MH to switch jobs do as a 22BLM because I forgot to switch jobs and tried to do it as a 40WHM. BST was by far the easiest IMO. Walk to Qufim from Jeuno. Wait for Kraken to depop and grab the flowers.

DNC was fun but not the easiest. The easiest is a toss up between the following; BRD, RNG, SCH, DRK (easy but loooooooong) |

I found RNG and BST to be easiest. BRD comes in a close third. It took me a few weeks for my Ruby to drop, so that in itself takes SMN off of my easy list. If we do 'cheapest' and 'easiest', then I'd go with RNG.
