Alright, this is to not even look at sub jobs or anything like that, I am mainly wanting to see, for Dancing potency, what it would be effected by, if anything. My first guess would be CHR, but I have not been able to fool with it myself yet.
Wiki has VIT raising the amount cured with Curing Waltz, but I've seen reports of CHR doing the same thing, in the same ratio listed on the wiki.

Re: Dancer stats
I would love it if VIT is needed, Galkas being the hgihest VIT stat would help my Galka dancer be looked at as a good role rather than get these comments "snort dude look at that Galka dance, lol emo noob" People still have the misunderstanding that the Galka race can't do anything other than tank.
Dex for sure.
Healing is usually cap at 2-3 level after you obtain the move.
No point to focus on what will be capped.
Focus on Dex and acc since dnc does have a "B" in dagger which mean alot of miss. You don't get TP for 0 dmg + misses. Hence it is wise to focus more on Dex and str.
While the steps and flouish moves seem base on melee acc.
Hi people... speaking of curing waltzes. is there a macro for them during fights to heal other party members ? cause i always have to go thru' the menu to choose the party members to cure since i am targeting the enemies. thanks in advance
Armando: Joyeuse makes for some delicious farming.
Armando: I should start coming /BLU for pure power.
Yellow Mage: Which sub gives you huge power?
Armando: That would be /WAR.
Yellow Mage: Ah, I see.
Yellow Mage: Would /Galka give you thick fat? XD
Armando: Yes, unless it's a Galka DNC, then it has a chance at having own tempo.
Armando: In Soviet Russia, L Cancels you.
Yellow Mage: Smashing like it's 1999.
Brawlers to the end.
... someone didn't do any research/fiddling with the job I see. Yes, CHR is the modifier for potency of waltzes (1 CHR = 1 HP approx) but I wouldn't focus on keeping a lot of CHR gear on. You should gear up like any regular DD would, swapping in CHR on waltzes if you want for a little extra HP.
Accuracy and Attack are going to matter a lot more since you need to gain TP to heal and feeding the mob TP while doing shit damage is counter-productive.

Wrong and wrong
Cures are noticably buffed by Chr and Dnc actually has better accuracy then jobs with A ranked weapons due to the Acc Bonus traits.
And you never focus on Str or Dex to TP in with a single handed weapon, you use Acc and Att.
Also, just like every other Melee, Haste and Store TP are great to have. You use basic TP gear during normal melee and swap in Chr gear during cures and such.
