Re: Further information on Dancer - credits go to 1up.com

I am thinking about SAM/DNC and Haste Samba (there is no tier II stated in OP)... wow

On the other hand, Curing Waltz: (TP cost, 20) Restore a party member's HP. Curing Waltz II costs 35TP. Curing Waltz III costs 50TP.... those Curing Waltz cost too much TP

I've never seen a drain-type melee weapons proc on but the rarest of occasions, at any rate, they're not commonly used to DD with. Bloody Bolts are far and away the most consistent drain-type weapon out there.

It could be that Aspir and Drain Samba are the closest Dancer gets to a Regen or Refresh and these technically are the En-Drain and En-Aspir some RDMs and hoped for, but is more appropriate for Dancer since they've had the ability to damage things like MP before.

We have no choice then: RDM/DNC!

. . .

. . .

I actually have no idea whether I'm kidding or not, actually.

Re: Further information on Dancer - credits go to 1up.com

Additional Info:
DCR(or is it DNR?) will have a B+ Dagger, Parrying, and Evasion Skill...I think. 196 at lvl 60 is B+ right?
and at least one Evasion Bonus and Accuracy Bonus JT, and Resist Slow... >.>

Edit: And a decent Throwing skill, B-/C+ too. Throwing items for NIN and DCR me thinks.

If Dancer uses rank B+ dagger skill on frontline support, maybe RDM/DNC be possible, depends of what /DNC offers.

Re: Further information on Dancer - credits go to 1up.com

Dancer sounds so fun. Front line healer would be really exciting.

Too bad I still hate Ninja. Samurai I don't mind, it's more the '-_- war again?' thought, even for just 18 levels, since I had wanted my Tarutaru to be a Dancer. White Mage would've been nice, I could have just switched between her Beastmaster job and Dancer when I was bored of being solo.

Does anyone else ever get that 'I wish some other job had/gave Dual Wield' feeling? It's almost like the world makes or breaks on Dual Wield and Shadows. Sad, really.

You're not the only one. I've been hoping to see another job with Dual Wield ability, although I don't know what that could be. Too many people use Nin as a support job solely because of Dual Wield. It would be nice if people had a second option so that people who do sub Nin are subbing it for what it really is.

As for dancer, it's certainly caught my attention after learning this information. It's obviously not a copy of bard as some people speculated earlier. It's going to be interesting seeing people dancing around on the front lines.

Dancer seems pretty interesting to me. Hopefully I will get a chance to play it.
