I exclusively drink Blue Moon and Dead Guy Ale. If I'm drinking hard alchahol I stick with Scotch and Whiskey... as well as some of the good stuff from my Greek Ancestors.

I finished my character as long as yyg approves a feat, if not then i have a back up feat in case.

Natural 15 on looking around =D and if he doesn't approve my odd feat. then I'll grab alertness which will give me a +2 more perception giving me a natural 17 no matter what.

There finished it now. And here lemme explain.
As a Half elf i get a racial "keen senses" It boosts all perception by +2
My alloted stat points are +3 Since Perception is a class skill for monk, and as per the Pathfinder rules, any class skill gets a +3 bonus if you have 1 rank in it. total bonus is +6
Then my wis comes into play +3
AND LASTLY half elves get a FREE skill focus feat at level 1 in any skill of thier choice adding a +3 to a selected skill mine being perception This bonus is increesed when i have 10 ranks in it to +6(later lol)
and if the math is sound
2+6+3+3= 14 =D
yay maximizing awesomeness? did i mention i'm also immune to magical sleep?

I put a crap load of notes in the note section on my character if anyone wants to check my math or prod me on my stats. >.> I also have a +5 base attack bonus and at level 4 it will be +6 so i'll be abel to do a +6/+1 at level 4. Unless i ad 1 point to dex to make it +7/+2 >.> cause i'm not OP....

Is the above ability used as a standard action or is it something I can just declare and get the benefits of right away?
Example: My turn comes up, I use ability and then perform a full attack racking up insane Sneak Attack damage and then do it all again on my next turn.
