We proceeded into the center room the two goblin archers ran into during our pervious fight. The room had an altar in the middle, and was covered in blood and pieces of Dwarf. There was a goblin witch doctor at the altar, and two archers shooting at us from two balconies at the sides of the room. The altar was covered in shit, presumably to defile it. We beat them and discovered a tunnel under the altar.

Basically just combat. We started about half an hour late and Yyg went away for 15-20 minutes halfway through so that was pretty much it.

And question. If I cast Fly, that's my action round and I also get a movement round, correct? So I could cast fly then move 30 feet in flight?

As long as the cast time is instant you can cast or prepare a spell and move.

It's like how I used Colour Spray a couple of weeks ago by preparing it, moving into a position, and then delayed casting it until some Goblins moved into range.

I can't get over how shitty my first fireball spell was... 8 damage? WTF?!?! I'm guaranteed more than that with a bolt...

I'm pretty mad that we got caught off-guard by a spellcaster. I'd love to give him what he deserves before we bail out and inform the dwarves that they should be panicking right now, but I can't think of a good way to do it. I already used up Obscuring Mist as a cure spell and rushing in blindly would be pretty foolish.

I can lock down that Spellcaster without any trouble. I have 6 uses of Binding Darkness left so that is 6 rounds of us being untargettable unless it has Darkvision. Plus someone that still has HP can just stand next to the caster and force it to defensive cast or eat AoO's like no tomorrow like what me and Cid did with the archers last session.

Does Mezlo have Sleep prepared because this would be an awesome time to fire that spell off too.

Either way, the fight is winnable.
