| Re: Why doesn't Clothcraft have a sub-forum in the crafting forum?
I started off clothcraft by getting some wind crystals, going to giddeus, killed a few yags and synthed their necklaces into grass threads and then crafting the grass threads into grass cloth. It caps at 4 so it won't really get you that far, but you'll only have to pay for crystals.

Mhurron: Alll YOUR math is based on me actually creating the Tsurara. I bought 20 stacks of each ingredient and went through them all and created about 7 stacks of Tsurara, getting me to level 1 only. Note: I can't remember the EXACT specifics, but it went kind of like this. Maybe I was trying it on a bad day for alchemy? BESIDES! According to FFXIAH, Tsurara hasn't sold in Jueno since 3-18. They sell via NPCs now...

With six levels between you and the cap level for the craft, I'm not surprised you broke that often. When I craft, I only allow a 2-3 level gap at best, and as such I break far less often. It's not always the fastest route to my goal, but it's often the cheapest.

Perhaps I started with 10 stacks of each ingredient... Anyway, Murphie, I think that may be the answer! I'll start on Ether or something next time...

You do know Ether is a level 50 synth right? check ffxiah like you seem to do, and NEVER synth more than 5 above, also stay away from AH for supplies as much as possible |
