Debunking (Proving?) Directional Synthing

I just assume it's true. It's a trivial matter to turn your character the "right" direction before starting your synthing, and the impact is reported to be so small even by people who are die-hard believers in the theory that it would be hard to prove one way or the other. All I can really say is that my average results seemed to improve slightly after I started using directional synthing, and that's good enough for me.

My take is that it is not hard to face a certain direction, so why not do it? At worst, you change nothing; at best, it helps you out. Now where it really gets complicated is when you start getting into different directions faced for Skill-up or HQ.

Yeah, I always face my direction except occasionally on the first synth because I get too eager when doing a big batch.

i been crafting for 3 years now. i see no difference in what direction you face. people who swear by the crafting compass, its just in your heads. only thing that matters is your crafting level and luck
