Woodworking question

How much money would it cost to level woodworking to a point where I can make shihei reliabley? I most likely have enough, but if its going to cost too much then I want to know.

I'm not too familiar with Woodworking, but giving an estimate amount is very difficult for people as price changes vary from server to server and luck is a factor too (one of my friends leveled Clothcraft with me and he somehow payed 50k extra then me at some point and we were on the same level)

That's understandable, and it is a good answer

But, I was looking for a ballpark range type of thing (+- 50k possibly? I don't know, my highest level craft is cloth at 3 :sweat: )

most wood synths should bring you back most of your gil. it wasnt until arrows an bolts that i made a slight profit. so in all it almost averaged out. but then again i didnt have to buy wind or earth crystals. 200k at the most to hit around 60. depending on server costs.

also it will depend how you tend to lvl it. are you gonna go slow an steady, or you gonna power lvl it ? this will play a big cost factor..

Will I make a profit if I lvl my Woodworking to a high lvl and sold arrows and bolts to rng and shiheis to nin? Will this be able to fund some of my jobs?

unless you're going for 80+ WW you won't be HQing shihei that much. And without HQing you only save 1-2k per stack. Not even worth the invesment.

til you get 80+, selling arrows usually generates a fair profit. Being rng, i eat most of my arrows i make, but with a stack of all the ingredients i can usually make 4-5 stacks of scorpion arrows @ lv58. considering arrows prices for all the racc+ arrows, 5k a stack on alexander, the cost vs. profit is usually 2/5. meaning for every stack of arrows the price i spend for materials is 2k and they sell for 5k. so 3k profit per stack isnt so bad. the issue i always run into is AH space. waiting for arrows to sell sucks.

unless you can also make your ink and parchment you wont be makin much money, not really worth the investment unless you are making it for yourself
