cooking guide - still any good?
doesn't look like theres a lot of traffic here, but oh well.

First of all, is the cooking guide here still any good? a lot has changed in the game, and im planning on taking up cooking. I just wanna get high enough as quickly and effciently as possible.

I want to be able to make boiled crab (lvl 27ish, I believe). How high must crafting skill be to make steamed crab occasionally, and how high tomake it regularly?

thanks

cooking really is easy.
The most important info you need probably is where to get your resources. Look up the recipe list, see which item is the easiest to gather recourses, learn which region your item is from and then craft away!

2 sites I really recommend

FF Recipe
All craft recipes with guild points you can gain from them

Somepage Regional Vendor guide
Locations and items they sell.

I have been furiously leveling cooking went from 33-53 in 2 days.

All under 100k.. (not sure if this is alot to begin with) but feels like a bargin to me.

To cut back on costs i usually harvest my own crystals... I buy alot of ingreidents from sandiora's market (very cheap and always available) And thats it... it's a bit time consuming xfering items over and over you waste about 5 minutes just xfering over 16 sandiora flour...(ugh why do they make this unstackable)

and when you amke all your goodies i sold it to npc or sent them over to 2 mules... (i didnt look for profits while leveling, i was levleing too fast to sell on AH either.)

so im stuck at 53 gonan amke some of that baugreen satuee? (easy becasue i saved up my own butter and have lots of fire cyrstals grwoing in garden) all i need is baugreen which is farely cheap.
