I've asked alot of my friends to do synthesis for me. They would say "I also need <whatever number> in Leathercraft to synthesis this item". Could someone please explain to me why they need Leathercraft as well? If you wanted a bullet proof vest today, the makers have to use many different types of materials to make them: plastic armor, glue to hold it together, and the cloth holds it on your torso.
Most armors have cloth, leather, and even some metal in them. You have to be able to work with all three in order to make the comlete product.

I thought they were saying you had to make the sheep leather, and I was saying you just need it, no matter how you got it.

For example, Scorpion Harness, the crafter has to have around lv69 bonecrafting and lv44 leathercrafting. If the crafter has too low a leathercrafting skill, they will fail, even if their bonecrafting is 100. Let's say you make that with 42 leathercrafting (your bonecrafting can be a little lower or anywhere higher)... you have a good chance of gaining skillup for leathercrafting from making scorpion harness up to a cap of lv44.
