What level Leather to craft a Scorpion Harness?

hi, i was wondering what level of leathercraft to have to make scorpion harness? on mysterytour it just shows a "?" where there should be a number. Thnx in advanced

I would recommend you have leather capped at 60. . . It's probally your best bet.

if you have higher leathercraft so your chance for +1 is higher too.

60 any skill is nothing so why wouldnt you just skill up your Leathercraft if that means you have a higher chance of HQ and not failing.

how much gil and time would it take to get Leather to 45? also, how much does it cost to synthesis a scorpion harness?

leather is very easy up until 49. The 50s are hardish.

Well that all depends on how you're getting your ingrediants >.> I'm pretty sure it's like 3.5mil + on my server (ingrediants).

First of all, Mystery Tour did list the required levels.

Scorpion Harness
Bone Working 69 
Leathercrafting 44

[Earth]
Venomous Claw ×1
Scorpion Shell ×2 
Ram Leather ×2

(a) Don't know about your server, but last I checked, venomous claw (1) wasn't something you picked up from the npc (2) is terribly a lot of money for a newcomer.

(b) Leather is quite expensive after 50. Also, for ALL crafts, getting a skill point after 50 becomes increasingly rarer the higher you go up. That means more materials which in turn means more money.

(c) He might also have other crafts above 60, not just bone. For example, if he fishes, his woodcrafting might be at 70sh to repair his Lu Shangs.

You don't get a better chance of HQ any more than the next bone worker just because your leather is at 60 and his is at 45. Unless you're a boneworker at 100+2 and work only on Fullmoon and Earthday ... even then, long time Scp. Harness crafters tell me they do fail from time to time and lose the "claw."

I imagine if you're a hardcore gil buyer, you could skill up crafting harnesses. :p Probably not enough claws in AH to do this with though.

(not saying this guy buys gil, just posting a humerous thought I had)
