I'm a level 68 bonecrafter and 38 leathercrafter, and I'm looking to up my skill in order to make sure that I can make a Scorpion Harness without much worry. Would it be a good idea to get from level 68 to 78 on tigerfangs alone? It appears to be the cheapest synth to skill up on.

scorpion harness maxes skill at 70 i suggest lvling to at least 75 to be safe first. Also get leather to 60 higher chance to hq it and being 38 is only 3 lvls of max for ram leather you can still brake because of sub. Also at higher lvls you use coerl and tiger leather so might as well. tiger fangs are the cheapest good i guess if u want to avoid the coral set

I went straight from bone patas to tigerfangs, but I was also using both the specs and apron, making it much easier to do such a wide gap. Currently 81 bone, still need to cap out leather, 58.5 so far.

My friend who maxed out his leathercrafting at 60 and has about 85 bonecrafting just HQed his first Scoprion Harness he ever made, so I think I'll go on and max out my leathercrafting before trying to level up my bonecraft. =)

Edit: I think that I'll just leave my Bonecrafting at 70, and take my Leathercrafting to 90. That way, I'll be able to craft the harness with relatively no problem as well as have access to crafting the potentially profitable leathercraft items, like behemoth mantle, and sniper's ring.
