Best guilds to combine with Leathercraft?

I am leveling my crafting skills. I was reading in allakhazam.com that you cant have all guilds at lv 100, the forum say there is a cap. If that is true, I want to know the best combination for guilds using leathercraft. (maybe clothcraft).

These are my current levels:

Blacksmith ............ 6
Goldsmith ............ 5
Clothcraft ........... 1
Leathercraft ......... 31
Woodworking ....... 23
Cooking ................ 4
Alchemy ................ 0
Bonecraft .............. 0

Another question ..... What have Leathercraft to offer at higher levels that sell for a lot???

Clothcraft have Vermillion
Bonecraft have Scorpion Harness
Goldsmith have their expensive rings.
Blacksmith have Haubek
Cooking have ?????????
Alchemi have ?????????
Leather have ... errr, Behemoth stuff?????????

I don't want to end like Cooking, making cheap stuff and getting low profits. Is Leathercraft + Clothcraft + Woodworking a good choice?

Sniper Rings, Tropical Punches, Blue Cotehardie, Dusk Gloves, Aurora Mantle, Winged Boots, Cardinal Vest...the only problem with this is all are 80+ >.>

As for your original question...I know that to make a Brigandine armor, you need high level smithing (55-60) and clothcraft. If you plan to take Leatherworking to 100, you can still get all other crafts to 60. So you might as well do that so that you can handle everything that's higher.

Thanks for the answer. Then, there is a cap if you can't take more than 1 guild to lv 100. Thanks a lot.

From what I've heard, you have 40 points to distribute among all your skills post 60. So, you can get all your skills to 60 with no cap, and then have only 40 more points to distribute after that.

Also once you get one skill to 100, should you try to raise another skill past 60, that skill will go up but the skill you had at 100 will go down. I have no proof of this but only what I heard from a JP player.

If that's true, at least you can change your maxed craft if you decide you made a mistake. Still, quite a lot of lost time, effort, and money if you end up doing that.

You pretty much /have/ to level clothcraft as your sub for all of the really cool stuff. Cotehardies, Brigandines, War (thf/rng jse ) gear, Cursed shoes, and all of the austere (smn lv.50 jse) gear require Clothcraft.

After clothcraft, choose either Smithing or Goldsmithing. They are about equal in the number of recipes and the amount of profit you can make from them. Smithing gets you Brigandine, Byrnie, and Cardinal Vests. There is an alternate recipe for Brigandine though that uses Goldsmithing as the support skill. Benefit of putting Goldsmithing on a higher priority than smithing is that most of the high level stuff that uses a Clothcraft support skill uses gold thread. It'd be advantageous for you to be able to make that for yourself. Downfall is that goldsmithing is a lot more expensive than smithing to raise...

After that, Alchemy if you want to make cotehardies, but those are the only two recipes that really use it.
