... ... The Vana'diel Moon Phases mimic the terminology for the real phases of the moon. Waxing = getting bigger; moving toward a Full Moon. Waning = getting smaller; moving toward a New Moon. New = none showing. Crescent = less than 50% showing. Quarter = 50% showing. Gibbous = more than 50% showing. Full = all showing. Now, if you knew how long it took for the Moon phases to move 1% (I'm not sure of this myself), you could predict how the moon will be behaving indefinitely. |
