Re: /Nin or /Rng?
Well, Double-Up is a job ability that goes active immediately after a Phantom Roll and lasts for about 45 seconds. What it does is that it allows you to reroll for a higher number.

Example:

Fighter's Roll. When you initially roll it, you can get anywhere from a 1 to a 6. Double up will roll another 1 through 6, giving you a higher total. So if you roll a 3 on Fighter's Roll, and then Double-Up for a 3, you get a total of 6. However, if you're still within the 45 second period, you can double-up again for a chance at a better number. So say you double-up and get a total of 6, and you double up again. You could get a 5 and get an 11 (max bonus). Of course... there's always that chance you'll bust, and that leads into lucky/unlucky numbers.

Fighter's Roll has a lucky number of 5, and an unlucky number of 9. A lucky number gives an effect between a 10 and 11, and an unlucky number gives an effect between 0 and 1. Basically, when you roll a lucky number, your best bet is to stay there. However, if you roll an unlucky number, you might want to consider rerolling for a better number, but there is always the chance that you'll either get a slightly better roll, hit the max, or flat out bust. When to double up is up to you. Risky eh? :D

Each roll's lucky number is first, with the unlucky number coming 4 numbers higher. So Fighter's Roll has a lucky number of 5, and an unlucky number of 9. Chaos, Ninja, and Hunter (I think another or two) have a lucky number of 4, and an unlucky number of 8.

So that's pretty much it of Double Up and the Lucky/Unlucky numbers.
