| Junior Member |   Question about my Memory Ram.
Hi I recently purchased a new computer inside of it I have a stick of 512 mb Corsair XMS high performance memory. I am going to get another 512 so I can have Dual channel but I was wondering if I can buy XMS Pro 512 mb stick and will it be compatible with the XMS 512 mb ram which I already have inside my computer which is not Pro. Thanks.

It'll be compatible...Somewhat. But what you should have done was purchased a "Matched Set". You'll get a performance increase, but not as much as a matched set would have.

Well, how much performance increase would there be? Is it noticeable?
