FFXI Bench 2 Score / Specs

Figured Better to start new thread for Bench2 so the scores aren't confused.

I myself got a 1618 with norton, zone alarm, msn, and winamp running after the comp was on for 5 hours. The i rebooted and did it with nothing on and got an average of 1606......

Amd Athlon 2400 2.0ghz
GeForce FX5200 128mb
Min Req 128mb ddr sdram
40Gb HD

Any one else notice Square has a Tarutaru Fetish?

I know that it is low, but i'm just getting the PC version until i can get the PS2 version....

Ok, I installed some new ram.
512mb ddr sdram 3200 > 128ddr sdram 2100 i was using
Bench 1 = 4731 > 4491
Bench2 L = 2748 > 2045
Bench2 H = 1687 > 1606

Wondering just how off that first benchmark is lol.
Not happy with my score with the bench2.

p4 3.75 Can go higher but having problems

9800pro clocked at 490, (crashes at anything higher)
1gig of pc4000 ram
1gig front side bus

going to fix my cpu speeds and try again.

LOL. You know that DDR is double that? Same with your CPU. 200MHz FSB = 400 MHz DDR. You want it in sync with your cpu anyways. If your 2400+ isn't overclocked then you want your RAM at 133 and not 200. Dispite what you think, 133 will perform better. That pc2100 will work better with that cpu. You should have just got more of the same kind.

my mistake guy, Its an old mother board. Its only reading the 512mb 3200 400mhz ram as a 512mb 2100 200mhz. I should of said it right the first time but oh well.

ok you need a new mobo. Get one that has 400mhz front side bus (i think it nforce 2 ultra?) and your Ram will work
