well... there's lots of different areas for upgrades. i'll see what i can do:

RAM: you can have a max of 1024MB DIMM DRAM. you've already got 512, with 1/3 RAM slots used. so you can get another 512 to make 1024, or get 2 256's to make 1024. make sure it's DIMM DRAM

vid card: your agp slot goes up to 4x AGP. you can get any card that says 4x AGP to work fine. im _pretty_ sure you can also get an 8x AGP in case you decide to upgrade your mobo later, but on your current board, the 8x wont have any improvements over the 4x agp. all of the best video cards come in 8x agp, but i know a good 4x agp would be a ti4200 4x agp. im not sure if it will handle the fx 5900 ultra 256mb or the radeon 9800 pro 256mb, but those are the 2 best cards currently on the market (for gaming). im not sure what the "aperture size" is. it says 64mb, but im not sure if that limits you to a 64mb video card. sorry, not much help there.

hdd: your mobo doesn't support Serial ATA, so just stick with the ATA hard drives. you can get a 320gb 133 ATA hdd -- that's probably the best for your board.

cpu: your max fsb speed is 4x133mhz = 532mhz. so you cant get a new p4 800 mhz fsb. you can get a p4 533mhz fsb. you can get a 533mhz fsb p4 up to 2.8ghz i think. not sure if those support HT technology, but i dont think they do.

so to wrap:
1024MB DIMM DRAM
4x(8x?) AGP Video Card (<64mb?)
320GB ATA 133 HDD
Pentium4 Processer @ 2.8GHz with 533MHz FSB

still a great computer, no doubt about, just not quite top of the line. a new mobo will let you upgrade further. in case you're wondering, that is well beyond playing FFXI perfectly
