will my chocobo die?

hi i have just moved house and have to wait until the 18th to get my broadband reconnected i was in the middle of raising my first chocobo and cant remember what careplan i set up, will it die?

It won't die, but if you don't check on it for a couple weeks its affection will go down and it will possibly run away. They do come back, but especially if you have it on a stressful care plan it probably won't be happy with you.

If it's any consolation, that has no effect on its color. I had a friend who completely forgot about his chocobo after hatching it, and 4 months later found out he had a retired black bird he could ride around.

Chocobo will not die, but it may retire or run away. It will retire after a certain amount of days 180ish? It may also run away from mistreatment, the chocobo raisers will feed it, but pretty much just enough to keep it alive.

... they don't like to talk about it much .. but there's this "Glue Factory" just outside of Bastok for "retired" chocos

im so glad but annoyed i have to wait nearly two weeks for my connection on an unrelated note do i still get charged by playonline even if im not playing?

Unless you canceled your content ID, yes you will still get charged for it whether you log on or not. If you had canceled it though, you'd probably just want to reactivate it on the 18th, at which point you'd be charged for the whole month anyway. So it's pretty much a lose-lose situation.

PlayOnline (POL) is free. It is the Content ID's that you pay for. As others have said, if you cancelled your Content ID then you won't be charged. But when you renew in 2 weeks, you'll be charged for the month of February anyways so it really doesn't matter.
