 |   Chocobo Racing - Final Spurt and Sprint
I'm getting the feeling these are all but useless without the corresponding ability(Gallop / Canter). Anyone can prove this?

Not sure yet on this. I have a First Class STR and END chocobo with no abilities. I have raced her several times and used Keep pace. I am using this bird while raising a chocobo with gallop to use later. If anyone has any info let me know! Thanks!
