I'm sorry that I keep asking all these questions /blush, but this time, it's about the new chocobo raising quest.
I've been folowing this new chocobo raising quest, and mine is nearly fully matured, (I was told mine is also a female) so now I am able to use a chocobo whistle. (which I have read, is the item you are supposed to search for when you get the option to search for it when chose the option of taking your chocobo out on a walk) I haven't found the item/whistle yet, so I'm going to keep trying until I find it.
Anyway, 2 questions.
1 - I have been issued with a choco card, and the npc at the stables said to hand it to someone in Jeuno. I didn't get the proper name of the npc though, so I'm not sure which npc I'm supposed to give my choco card to. (in Jeuno)
Could someone please tell me who?
2 - I'm aware that for this quest, you can have a different coloured choco, other than the original yellow. Is it just Black at the moment, or can they be another colour too? Also, is the different colour only resigned to male or female, or can both sexes have the different colour?
Even though mine has nearly grown into a mature adult, it's still mainly yellow, and I would like to know when it will change colour, and if it will change colour at all.

There's no clear cut answer as to how to ontain certain color yet. But people has found that their colors are related to their attributes that you train them into.
For example, black/red have high strength and endurance.

I can't remember his name but its the kid in the Upper Jeuno chobobo stable.

If its yellow now it always will be. Other other colours at the moment are Black and Blue with Red and Green also getting added in the next patch this month.

Its not know if there's any sure fire way to get a different colour chocobo, its just the luck of the draw at the moment.

Thanks a lot for the info guys.
I was venturing with someone from my ls about 3-4 weeks back who used their whistle to call their choco, and it was black. I admittedly felt a bit jelous though, hehe.
Regarding the atributes - strength, endurance e.t.c.
I'm assuming these are all the things you can build up through the options like taking out on walks, reading a story, listening to music e.t.c. is that correct?
The npc trainer at the sandy stables has been telling me that all these attributes on mine at the moment are very poor. So if I keep up with the walking, listening to music, caring e.t.c, then this should build up the attributes, right?
Telling a story - okay, so I just get this as random chit chat at the moment. (which I think would probably bore the choco a bit) I have a feeling that it would somehow change though, and I'm just wondering if anyone knows how.

I just came across 3 kids outside the choco stables in Upper Jeuno, (I came away forgetting their names too, but those were the only 3 kids I saw) and tried to trade my choco card to them, but for some reason, none of them would accept it. I think I might rememebr being told to show it to someone in Ru' Lude Gardens, but I'm not 100% sure on this.
Maybe if you (or someone) could try and find out the name of the npc which I give the card to, then I'll try this again. Otherwise I'll either hang onto it, or throw it away.

I think you need 2 chocobo cards. One (F) and one (M).

Hang on....... so my choco is female. If I ask for another choco card from the VCS trainer in Sandy stables, it will be a male choco card, is that right?
From what I have read now, I believe you get a honeymoon ticket from Finbarr in Jeuno, but then you trade this ticket back to him, along with [M] and [F] chococard.
Is that right?
But there is something else.
The chococard I recieved has my chocos name on it, in the bottom corner. (the right hand corner, as oppose to left) Do I still choose to get another choco card, so that I can hand them into Finbarr with the honeymoon ticket too?

You will need to get a chococard from another player who has a male chocobo if you want to breed them.

I don't really know a lot of players on my server, but I asked in my ls, and 1 player said to try looking around for players who have set up bizaares outside the stables, and I found a [M] choco card in the end, I'm happy to say.
I was uncertain that the [F] choco card I got, was for the matchmaking quest, but I went over it again with the VCS trainer in Sandy stables, and he says to give the card to matchmaker in Jeuno. This made me realise that it was the correct quest, and I handed in my honeymoon ticket, along with my [F] choco card, and a [M] choco card I picked up, and gave it to Fen..... (oh..... what's his name again??!!) in Upper Jeunoto start the matchmaking quest.
I know the details, and what I am doing now.
