Thanked 0x in 0 Posts Gil: 369 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 369 Donate  | this could be you i havent really played ffxi in like 10 months or so real problems and the relationship with my in game girl sheerhielaahin went downhill fast (yeah you got it, one long name heck i dont even know if i spelled it right ) after taking a break and coming back to find out she just blisted me without any reason why our relationship had ended i left, after alittle fight i mean heck who wouldnt be upset coming home to that? anyhow this is what i DONT get its been 10 months and even now everytime i log on she gets freaked out like im back to get back with her or talk to her, truth be i really dont even want to walk on the same server as her ive put in so much hard work on my charecter that just moving and starting over isnt a choice id like to look at. shes throws up lies and lies about me to my friends that have basically end up as me being harrassed outside of even the game. i look for groups and get shot down because shes there, heck i was invited to a linkshell and turned down because she sent some guildwide message about how she was gonna get a gm on me for harassing her. granted i did jump on an alt before hand after findin out she was in the same ls that i was now in to basically say hey im in the ls , i didnt know you were i dont want any drama i just want to enjoy the game. i dont get it im tryin to be a nice guy and shes causing all these problems for me . ive talked to gm's SE over the phone and noone can do anything to help me in the situation i have to just take it in an accept that im the victim of some weird womans passion to make my life a living hell.

You just have to grin and bear it and wait for the fallout to die down. Keep logging in and keep playing but totally ignore her or anyone that acts on what she's been saying. Just shrug your shoulders and walk away. Yep its hard but in the end, when you stop giving her attention by responding to her immaturity, her and her lackies will fade away. just act like nothing ever happened between u two and dont respond to anything she does because what she is trying to do is make u slip up and if u keep ur cool people will eventually realize that she is the problem.

Also, yeah, avoid in game gf's like your life depended on it. Personally I never understood them. Isn't the point of a gf, what really defines them from a really good friend is the physical intimacy? (And I don't necessarily mean sex, just like hugging, kissing, whatever) B/c, if its a gf you can't see or touch, aren't they just a good friend? (Unless you "talk" about what you would like etc, and that would just piss me off to talk about it and not be able to do anything about it) You want to have a relationship with a girl on a game? Keep it a friendship relationship. You don't have to ever see someone to be friends with them and unless the whole freakin sewage system hits the fan, its a lot easier maintaining a friendship than a bf/gf relationship. Remember, a lot of players may not even know of you and her, so find linkshells without drama and with a relaxed atmosphere.
I'll admit i've had a couple in game boyfriends. Not my finest moments, but eh. Now i'm trying to stray away from that, even if there are a few guys on the server who wanna hook up with me. I just want something real. Not something where i'll never get to see the person or hear their voice.
And if you're looking for a linkshell. You're more than welcome to join mine. I have no members and its pretty lonely talking to myself.
