Mission 6 call - Final Fantasy XI :: Dreams in Vana'diel :: Community

Just checking if there is anyone on Cerberus that needs to do mission 6 dragon? This is mainly for Windurstians, since everyone else fights the windurst dragon.

Wed or Thur night this week looks like a good possibility for me, and I got atleast 1-2 others that will join. Or Mon/Tues next week might be good too.

BTW which is easier between the sandoria and bastok dragons? I hear bastok has petrify.:mad:

As we are now, we have 3 war's @ 23, 22, 20. I could make 24, maybe 25 for this week, not sure about the other guys.

When I fought the San d'Orian dragon, a Galka Monk I was with got hit with a Curse that reduced his Max HP from 600 or so down to 101. On the way out he stood back with the mages and raised his throwing skill while we teased him. ^^

I beleive anyone who is Rank 3 or higher can acompany you (I've fought the San dragon twice, the Windurst dragon once), so you may want to ask someone who's already done it to accompany you.

Hint: Perfect Dodge is your friend. Our WHM got bored and cast Banish and Banishga.

Damn. Both of those suck. :mad: Ahhh well, we shall see what happens. I've fought the windurst dragon before on another server/char, but there wasn't much strategy to it other than sleep the dragon to kill the other thing, then pummel the dragon.

I would advise bringing a dragoon with you if you can. There a big help. I fought the windhurst dragon with a 5 person team (thf,rdm,whm,war,drg) and we destroyed it. The fight didnt even last 5 min. 3 of us were actually lvl30+ but the restriction lowered us to 25. I think if you pt is around lvl23-25 the dragon should be a cake walk.

Im a Dragoon and I love fighting thode dragons but not much dragons in the game yet

We killed the bastok dragon with 2 monks and a redmage @25.

Both monks activated their 2 hours.

Make sure you have a BLM or RDM who can cast sleep on the dragon, then take out the flying eyeball. After he is down, go for the dragon.

i cant wait till i get to fight the dragon but at my current lvling rate it seems as if it will take forever to rave lvl15
