I know I"ll need all subs to make it worthwhile, but I"m talking bout lvling while I lvl WW to 100.
So any ideas would be greatly appriciated. I think I"m going to do smithing, or maybe gsmithing, but both are really expensive, so I don't wanna lvl both at the same time until I get to 100 WW.
Also, do the elem staves take any subs to make? I know the beads come outta the gsmithing list, but I wasn't sure if you needed any sub to make them. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 05-17-2006, 10:52 AM | #2 (permalink) | | lolnoob Join Date: May 2006 Posts: 219 Style: Light - Version 5 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0x in 0 Posts Gil: 987 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 987 Donate | Re: Best Sub for WW I used Smithing and Goldsmithing VERY little when leveling to the 90s. Bonecraft was handy in the 80s, capping at 91. In the mid- to upper-90s you'll need moderate Smithing to skill up.
As far as profit, you hit it right on the head. You need most/all subcrafts leveled. Dryhus, Elvaan male | Bismarck | San d'Oria 6 | Windurst 5

There are lots of weapons that require some smithing skill to make.
Other crafts that are worthy of note: Goldsmithing, Clothcraft, Bonecraft, Leathercraft, Alchemy. Why Alchemy? Mostly to make your own bast parchment and black ink for shihei.
I hope you are not leveling up woodworking specifically for making elemental staves. Look at the price of an elemental bead, then look at the price of the corresponding staff. Not worth the money. The only way it is worthwhile is if you have a mule that has 80+ Goldsmithing to make your own beads. Thats after you grow your own ore. Haggai

I'm lvling ww mainly because I was bored one day, and happened to be in sandoria lol. I plan on taking it to 100 because I have some RL friends that are planning on lvling sam and rng, and I wanna help um out with arrows. Plus having a craft to 100 isn't bad.
Also, my friend gardens elem beads, and since I said I'd make him arrows he said he'd hook me up with a few beads for free lol. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 05-17-2006, 11:24 AM | #5 (permalink) | | Likes to n00k Join Date: May 2006 Location: Maine, USA Posts: 558 Style: Dark - Version 5 Thanks: 8 Thanked 22x in 17 Posts Gil: 2,324 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 2,324 Donate | Re: Best Sub for WW Holy moly! Like they said, there are several very useful sub crafts for woodworking.
People do craft ele staves, but usually only when they're at or near 100+3 and know how to manipulate the crafting times and days to achieve a higher HQ rate. I RNG 75 I WAR 37 I NIN 38 I SAM 50 I Woodworking 92+2

I guess he figures since I"ve known him like....10 years he can chip in a few free ores lol. It is also nice because he is a goldsmith, so he can make um into beads ^^. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | All times are GMT -8.
