Guild Point Help

Ok, so i have lumberjack and like 3k guildpoints.

It seems to me as though each item trade has decreased in guild point reward. Is this true or am i just impatient. Bear in mind that i have just returned from a somewhat lengthy break from the game(i left around september i think).

Im wondering also if anyone has any advice for earning guild points because as you can see i dont really have a subcraft and most of the items they ask for for guild points require a sub to craft. Also, the AH is often sold out of the items or have them priced high.

It bounces around a lot. I think there were 3 days in a row for me where they were all 6k+ for the day. The last few days its been like 1 or 2k. Which sucks, b/c I'm like 5k away from the apron. One thing I've started doing is recognizing items that show up a lot, like velocity bows. (or is it lightning bow, i can't remember). They sell for like 20k when they aren't the GP item. I started buying a few when I have the money on me and just keep them on a mule until they show up again. Just 2 gets you the full 6k+. I usually spend an hour or so on getting the item, depending on if its buyable from a vendor, or if its cheaper to make or buy from the ah somewhere. I've spent quite a bit on them so far, but its been worth it. Just ride out the low return items for a few days and you should get a barrage of high return items soon.

A couple times, that site has been wrong about the current guild item for me, so be careful when using it. I always check to make sure it is right before getting the needed items.
