I have noticed that when trying to level my 15 summoner in the dunes the other day, that hardly anyone is partying there anymore. When i leveld my monk and my dragoon, there was planty of people partying. But it seems to me people have ran off from the dunes just because of these goblin bounty hunters.
Anyone els think the same? Comments please. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 06-08-2007, 04:40 AM | #2 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: May 2007 Posts: 27 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 8 Thanked 1 Time in 1 Post Gil: 2,282 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 2,282 Donate | Re: Dunes gone downhill? It probably has something to do with the fact that the dunes sucks.
Seriously, just walking around that place can give you a headache if you do it in the middle of the day. So damn bright... | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 06-08-2007, 04:45 AM | #5 (permalink) | | Loaded With Sodium Oracle of Knowledge Join Date: Jul 2005 Posts: 7,964 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 448 Thanked 1,586x in 1,000 Posts Gil: 2,234 Bank: 28,893 Total Gil: 31,127 Donate | Re: Dunes gone downhill? Yes i agrea the dunes is a bad place to party in, but i dont ever remember it being this bad. Hardly anyone is seeking/partying, and if i do get into a party it most always sucks. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 06-08-2007, 04:54 AM | #8 (permalink) | | Keeper of Knowledge Join Date: May 2006 Location: Al'Taieu Posts: 2,546 Style: Light - Version 6 My Mood: Thanks: 458 Thanked 434x in 301 Posts Gil: 179 Bank: 29,281 Total Gil: 29,461 Donate | Re: Dunes gone downhill? Most parties that I've been in since the GBH update have not been a problem, even camping on the beaches you can easily kill the GBH. I at least have some noob protection by always partying with my husband (or at least one LS member) so there's at least myself and one other who is not a noob.
I honestly think people are (finally) sick of leveling there and either soloing through 20 or just finding other places to level. ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~Aksannyi~~Hades~~75WHM~75RDM~62WAR~58BLM~~Mama Gamer~~<3 Cerealkiller~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 06-08-2007, 04:56 AM | #9 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: UK, Birmingham Posts: 108 Style: Dark - Version 5 My Mood: Thanks: 18 Thanked 1 Time in 1 Post Gil: 8,785 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 8,785 Donate | Re: Dunes gone downhill? True, but Buburimu has alot more exp mobs and camps that aren't out by the water, unlike Valkurm.
You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be misqouted and then used against you. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 06-08-2007, 06:17 AM | #14 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: May 2007 Posts: 61 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 0 Thanked 5x in 4 Posts Gil: 1,789 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 1,789 Donate | Re: Dunes gone downhill? I have leveled all of my jobs out of dunes accept for drk smn and pup. I honestly cant remember being in a good party in the last 5-6 times I went throught there. Back in the day it use to be great, I honestly dont know what happened. Alteast if you get a good party to go it wont be overcamped. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 06-08-2007, 06:36 AM | #15 (permalink) | | Junior Member Administrator Join Date: Dec 2003 Posts: 4,881 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 224 Thanked 660x in 337 Posts Gil: 14,203 Bank: 59,054 Total Gil: 73,256 Donate | Re: Dunes gone downhill? http://campsitarus.blogspot.com/
Buburimu peninsula and worms in Shakhrami/Korroloka are good alternatives. I don't know where all the people are at, but a lot of people solo up to level 20 now to avoid the noobness that is Valkurm. I think, though, that now that people aren't getting through that stage in Valkurm, Qufim is now at that level of general party stupidness and Yuhtunga is now more like Qufim used to be. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | All times are GMT -8.
