Im on my 2nd consecutive lose.

I got NO clue how to beat him. I manage to dish out a lot of damage but he ups and kills me in like 3 hits!

I dont know what to do -_-

This fight is more luck with the spells Raubahn will cast.

You want him to waste his time casting defensive spells than offensive spells. To have a better chance of him casting defensive spells, you dont want to waste to much time buffing in the beginning. I dont know when his AI starts but after a certain time he will begin to buffing himself.

I would suggest buying some Hi-ether potions instead of resting and a icarus wing instead of Opo-Opo + sleep potions to save time in the beginning.

Do the your buffs + food, engage, 2HR, run in, and cast frost breath (incase he has Zephyr Mantle up). Self-SC (vorpal blade -> hysteric barrage) or (savage blade -> cannon ball) then spam all your big damage spells. During all of this, just hope he casts defensive spells...if he does then you win, if he doesnt then you have a high chance of death.

It's all about luck, and what spells he casts.

Bring a Reraise scroll with you, that's how I got my victory on the 2nd try. If he kills you, he won't regen till he walks back to his spot. When he's almost there, pop up and just pummel him with spells. Hopefully after your first one, he'll use something with a long cast time, and that's enough for me to use a 2nd spell.

Using the "normal" spell rotation posted above, then a Frenetic Rip + Hysteric Barrage after reraising netted me my victory. Seriously the most annoying thing i've ever done in this game, but I was so happy to get it done I sent a tell to everyone I knew(Aks may or may not remember it lol). Not sure about the DNC and SCH Genkai, but anything before and up to TAoU, BLU is definitely one of the hardest for the sheer luck factor. I knew someone who tried it almost 10 times before he gave up, leveled SAM, and did it with that.

a vile elixir saved my butt after he decided to head butt and tail slap me xD

My preparations were somewhat like listed above

Opo necklace + 4 sleeping potions.

I casted zephyr mantle diamondhide and refuelling before using the first sleeping potion and using a yag drink as well for recovering the MP used.

After using the third potion, I took all my spells off and set all my ddamaging spells along with zephyr mantle and memeto mori.

I used a carbonara for my food item and a milk for hp regen.

I walked up to the water and used my 2hr + Burst Affinity then proceeded to use Memento Mori + Frost Breath while standing on water. once he got close enough I used chain affinity + vorpal blade + hysteric barrage + icarus wing + vorpal blade.

Then I spammed every single damaging spell I could use and when I wa sin the red I used a Vile Elixir.

then he died.
