Blue Magic Hunting Grounds

I found this website the other day while researching learning the blue mage spells. I am currently level 12, but this helped me quite a bit with different camps and planning where I'm going next.

I can't view the link since it's blocked at work. If this is the guide that I think it is, it is accessible from ffxiclopedia and its a very good guide. I used it to help me get my spells between 30-46 which is my current level.

It was hard as hell to get Venom Shell even at 41ish, but once I figured out the trick, it was pretty easy to get. Messed up part was, the mob that I learned it on used it on me right before I killed it, and I had already used my last antidote. So I had to stand and watch my HP slowly tick down only to stop in the mid 100's.

One thing to note about that guide is that it provides sometimes inaccurate information on how much help you need. For example, it describes a strat for soloing Body Slam on Dahaks. This is theoretically possible, but unless you are an EXCEPTIONALLY skilled BLU I wouldn't recommend this (and bring a RR item). Other mobs it claims you need a full XP party, when really 3-4 good players with a solid job mix will do the trick. Use your common sense when reading the strats and make a realistic assessment of your skill level and the skill of those helping you and you'll be fine.

The camps it recommends however are excellent and will provide great ideas as to the best places to go to learn your spells. I always use this as a reference when helping others (Sadly I didn't know about it when I leveled BLU).

I've been using this all the way up to Uppercut now. I have been taking the help needed suggestions with a grain of salt, as I've soloed everything thus far. I have a feeling as I get a bit higher its going to be a little more accurate in terms of needing more people than myself.
