My Mood: | What do the yellow dots in Set spells mean?
Just something I noticed when I hit level 21 and unlocked five more set points, when I would try to reorganize or some of the set point slots would turn yellow as I did so, any special meaning behind that?

The theory is, the spell slots are supposed to be color coded for easy reference when setting for level caps. If I recall (don't have access to my FFXI comp to check at the moment), it goes something like: 1 - 20: Blue 21- 30: Yellow 31 - 40: Dark Blue 41 - 50: Purple 51 - 60: Green 61 - 75: Red In practice, though, I've found the color coding really doesn't help all that much, especially since it doesn't really tell you when you've set a spell that you can't use in a certain level cap. Anyway, I hope this helps, later!

Yes, that is what they are for. SE was trying to be helpful and let you know when you went over the spell point limits for different level caps. I agree with Raji as to the uselessness of it though.
