Dimensional Death

I've always liked this ability since I first saw it take out a lvl 75 RDM/NIN
that was helping me with my DRG AF3, but does it actually work well as a blue
spell?

Isn't Dimensional Death Lv.61 to use for BLU? On Lakshmi, there is a BLU64, but I've never talked to them to find out how effective it is.

What I want is Death Scythe! lol Amikiri hit a NIN75 friend of mine for 1900 after an AoE that wiped his shadows. I want something like that in a spell! hahah

Anybody have any numbers on Goblin Bomb at the higher levels? Anybody dropped a Gobby Bomb for 1k yet?

I saw a level 68 BLU/THF drop a Sneak Attack + Dimensional Death against a Steelshell a couple days ago for about 950 points of damage.

As for some useful info about this spell: It is insanely powerful against TW mobs, usually doing over 400 while both Death Scissors and Mandibular Bite end up around 250.
Against exp mobs however I'd say it does slightly lower than both the above mentioned.
Using SATACA (or CA alone) Death Scissors and Dimensional Death are roughly the same, with a slight advantage for Death Scissors.

At least that's my experience with it.

Alright, I just hit 60 and would like to say something about this.

It's insanely awesome ^^

SATA + Dimensional Death: 400s-500s
SATA + Dimensional Death + Chain Affinity (100% TP): 700-900s

STR was at 56 + 43

Dimensional Death not only can be stacked with SA but it can also end Fusion. You guys oughta try RLB >> CA SA Dimensional Death, I'd expect some seriously impressive numbers out of that.

Actually I did try it out. The highest Dimensional Death I got via a SC was only around 600 DMG.

So I'm still tryin to figure out which is better. SC or just doing it at 100% TP

Currently I'm in a PT with a WAR and am trying to figure out which Axe weaponskill he can use with me to SC

Ahh. What would be really sweet then is if you had someone in your party who could start Fusion for you so you could get both benefits :x
