| Skilling in Blacksmithing
I am new to crafting, now knowing that it really is the main sorce of income, and ive only made like two different items, Bronze Axe and something else. Is there an easy or more effective way to skill crafting?

No you have to go through like this. Unless you bot (cheaters BOOO!) i would recommend you just level it, it's alot more safer and funner. But the money involved can hurt sometimes lol. :D

Generally the way to go is to make consumables instead of weapons. Get as many levels as you can out of ingots, sheets, and scales, since these are more likely to sell than the weapons/armor. There's a decent guide in the smithing forums for getting it to 73, for the craft recipe/level lists check out the FFXI wiki or MysterTour. 50+ is an absolute biatch though, I'm currently 63 and plugging my way to 73, then praying that darksteel nodowa will be a decent bridge into the 80's.
