Priority on Morgian set?

I recently obtained a Salvage pearl and although I have a 0.001% chance of lotting anything now, the LS leader wants to know what piece is my priority. I have Druid's SLops so I was looking at Cuffs or Robe... What do you guys think?

Morrigan legs all the way. They are, hands down, the best blm piece for legs. (As far as nuking goes, anyways) Save that elemnental skill for HNM gods.

Re: Priority on Morgian set?

I'm not nessisarily looking for what piece is best, but rather what piece offers the most advantages over other pieces.

So the legs add a solid 10 INT(about 2.5 MAB in terms of damage), versus M. Slops at +8 INT. Pretty straightforward, net gain of about 2 INT. Good, but I really have only have a shot at one piece of gear at present.

The body is on par with Genie Weskit in terms in terms, with 5 MAB(+8 INT, so 7 MAB in damage), the main diffrence being Refresh vs Conserve MP +2(lol), though the Weskit does have +Skill for Gods. I already have the Weskit to, so that means my net gain from obtaining Morrigan's Robe would be Refresh effect... In my opinion, a very good gain(Unless Auto-Refresh means less at 75 then it does now)

The last piece I was comparing was the hands... and this is where I need your help on.

I currently do not have Sky acess. I am on ZM 5. My HNMLS rarely does god runs anymore to. Now, hands down Zenith Mitts and Morrigan's Cuffs are about equal, converts 50 HP to MP vs +25 MP. The Cuffs are prety much made for BLU and mabye RDM, though they have identical MAB. If I had any chance in the future at obtaining Zenith Mitts, I would certainly go for the Robe. But as my shot at Zenith seems very low, the +5 MAB from Morrigan's Cuffs comes into play.

The dilemma here, is an essential +5 MAB that can be replaced later on if I ever get to do sky runs, or a Refresh effect on a piece of equipment that is best for a nuking BLM. Asking a professional BLM's opinion, which one would be best?

EDIT: One more thing, sorry to go kinda off topic, how would you rate Sorcerer's Tonban vs. Morrigan's Slops?

Re: Priority on Morgian set?

Sorcerer's Tonban adds +5 M attack if the day matches. The damage will be quite a lot higher than what 10 INT can give. It's like elemental obi that works everyday.... I think it's the best piece to use with all the AM II we have. Earthday? No more lolstone4, Quake II babie.

Other than that, Morrigan legs can be equiped all the time.

When I said body, I wasn't thinking about which piece was best. But it's just my favourite piece so I'll go for it first. That's all o_O;;
Magic Attack +5 that Rdm can use....
And a body refresh you can keep on all the time.
Yes, yes, yes.

After body, I'll go for Feet > Legs > hands > head.

I didn't give legs that much of a priority... because you can already get 8 INT/MND from Mahatma slops... That's just 2 more INT if you think about it.

Re: Priority on Morgian set?

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about M Slops. So then, I guess I'll put Body > Hands/Legs(Depending if I can get Zenith Mitts or not... If I can get Mitts then Legs come first) > Feet/Crown then I guess... Those two don't do much for BLM. Body is easily the is the best piece for BLM, and mabye I can pull a few favors and see if we can get me a pair of zenith mitts so I won't have to get Morrigan Cuffs untill later...

Thanks Jei.

Re: Priority on Morgian set?

I donno about the body... it looks redundent. Most BLM at that level would already have a black cloak (cheap cheap cheap peice of gear) and a weskit. You can get your refresh from the cloak (or AF2 body if you got that), and have the weskit out for nuking. I would say +5 skill is probably about the same, if not more effective than +5 acc. So what you really get out of it is +8 INT from the whole ordeal.

If you don't have sky, the cuffs would probably be a more beneficial choice. Even if you do have sky, and/or zenith mitts already, the cuff is still a good choice for the +5 macc and not losing 50 HP, which hurts for taru BLMs.
