BLM's expense seems to come from the constant barrage of new spells every few levels and some are really quite expensive.. I'm BLM38 highest job is WHM63 highest melee is NIN42 and plus I have attention problem so farming I find difficult.. would people recommend certain things to farm on as a BLM or should I stick to crafts and tele-whoring from Jeuno and Whitegate

You can always do quest and missions. You can get utsusemi: Ichi (sp?) from norg, as well as most ichi quest (some rusty leg quest). If nin is not your thing, you can sell them. And when your blm is high enough to really farm well, then just buy it back.
There is a bard song (sells really well), that you can get (sandy quest?), you just need to gather different parties (all same race, all same job, and all....?). Gyfford ~Valefor~

Heck you should have said you're high level'ish WW... craft man craft. Send stacks of arrows to your mule to get put in quivers. That'll save you inventory space.. and you can still use the quiver when you're selling them (incase you prefer to sell per 99stack) Gyfford ~Valefor~

I'm lv59 Woodworking.. So takes a long time but I can make "meh" ok gil..
