Utterly amazing. This is unheard of. Can the drop rate really be that bad? But then again, there are people here who say they stumble upon it and get 1/1. WTF

Since it's the luck of the draw each time you try, ya it could be that bad. It might not be that bad if you were able to stay and get lots of consecutive pops but since few can you may end up with the bad luck of when it's good for you to try, he doesn't feel like dropping.

I feel bad for people who have to camp him.

I feel bad for myself right now. 0/2 but I seem to get drops around the 11th try so heres hoping for some better luck with Mysticmaker all 'round.

1/36 on the thing (when camping for me over a 4 month period) Got it while heading to Ose camp he was just standing there walking around and the stingy arse dropped for me. i ended up 1/18 on Ose. F that NM

First time, I went in with RDM friend, no tod, waited till it popped, someone else got claim.
Two hours we got claim via Dia. Earring dropped.

Was in there with my wife's WHM raising a friend, it popped, claimed with Dia and finished it off with a hammer. Earring dropped.

Was in there farming meat, partied with a mule on a second account (to catch meat). NM popped on me and I nuked it down, earring dropped... noone else in the zone and had to give it to mule.

Helped a friend to get this thing, claimed 2 pops in a row and earring dropped. I didn't even know that the earring was not a 100% drop before then.

1/12 on my Moldy Earring.

I camped this thing two months straight, so I had it for my Maat fight. I finally got it, had my EXP cap'd for Lv.70, went in the 1st fight, dropped him down fast, only needed maybe 2 more nukes. Tried to Sleep him to Convert he killed me. 3 hours later, I go back to try for round 2, and I forgot to equip the damn thing entirely! lol

So I lived in Onzozo for two months, and then didn't use it when I beat the Old Fart. Now I use it though. I like 700~760dmg MBs as a RDM. ^^b

i was 1/3 on moldy and thats about normal i think the average drop rate on moldy is about 1/5
dont feel bad if your 0/10 or even 0/15 my friend is 0/85 on thfs knife. there are a lot of nms with much worse drop rates... like JeJ his drop rate is like 1/1000... seriously thats only a slight overstatement

That's exactly what I thought when I finally got mine. "So now what am I going to do...." Since I had spent two months in the same damn spot, doing the same damn thing. Then again shortly afterwards I went and killed Maat and then leveled to 75. So I had something to do!
