But BLM and SMN do not get those skills just like BLM can use swords they still do not get the skills. I will not waste my time on getting weapons that I can use but cannot lvl up my skill in. I think its stoopid. One thing that is cool about the sword thing is that it makes us look cooler and confuses ppl who see us carrying swords and wonder if we are RDM's, hehe.

Blegh. I guess they added these things to taunt us? The latent effect on them is 4mp/3 seconds drain. So...we need real refresh *and* refresh effect to be able to use this at no-mp penalty. Remind me again - why would I want to be meleeing if I'll be doing garbage damage, whiff like mad, and not have access to any good weaponskills? Blegh. Maybe for farming purposes, but I'd rather level RDM up and be able to use Refresh on myself, have access to convert, and in general be more useful at farming than a BLM is *regardless of the BLM's weapon choice*.

I got my scythe today yay, going to sell it back tonight before it becomes 10k lol. (bought for 100k)

I do about 100 dmg on avg at level 54 blm to Evil weapons, not bad ^^

The Scythe does not drain any mp at all. There's no hidden effect, just straight up pimp. Don't know if you were talking about the Scythe, or the rune weapons though >.< Kinda rushing this before bed.

*drools* That new gear was FUCKING COOL! Lv. 73 Gear for BLM. It was like "Magic Atk Bonus" +6 Elemental +15 "Conserve MP" +2 and Physical Damage "Curse" target. HOLY HELL! They only way it would possibly be better is if it looked cool.

Oh yeah I have the sickle.... it looks cool but it seems more or less for looks than effectiveness in battle. It was still a 50k well spent. ^_^

Sure it looks cool, but my staff can do way more damage, my scythe is capped (from raising BST) and my Staff is not, and my staff hit more often and hit for more damage..

So pointless untill I can use a better sycthe WS or.. no nvm scythe isnt worth it unless they raise the rating on it.
