Blizzaga2 vs Water3 burst

Blizzaga2: mp 175 damage around ~ 750 with Ice Staff

Water3: mp 98 damage ~ 550 without Water Staff

but if you follow the Water3 burst with...
Blizzard2: mp 77 damage ~300 with Ice Staff
Total: 850 for 175mp

Which one should be better to burst ? I use an Ice Staff and those are the standard damages i get after Burn. At the moment I use Blizzaga2 coz one shot high damages is the reason I played blm , but Water3 + Blizzard2 seems more efficient.

Please, please, PLEASE do not Magic Burst Water III on Distortion when fighting crabs. Yes, the damage is nice, but the resist rate even with Ice Staff or Water Staff is sucky (I've seen 40 damage MB's of this type... very sad).

If the resistances don't matter though, go with whichever is more MP-efficient. If its tied, go with whichever element you have a staff for, and if its STILL tied, go with Ice Staff + Blizzard line for the +Elemental skill.

I only hit 720-730(Sometimes I hit for a full 780 o.o) with Blizzaga II . You level 53... embarrassing XD.

Water III is bleh. I only used it when my party was chaining VT spiders in Boyahda could hit +400 so it was good.

LOL Thnx for the replies. I had the same Dilemma with Thunder III and Aeroga III, and ended up using Aeroga III anyway despite it's huge mp drain . Plus seeing 1000+ damage bursts finally is fun~ :spin:
