Elvaan Ninja/Black Mage....

Would an Elvaan Ninja-Black Mage be effective or good? Would it be better to make blk mage the main job?

As a rule:

1) Mage and Melee jobs and subjobs usually dont mix well because the stat bonuses do not benefit your primary function in a group.

2) Advanced jobs do not usually make good subjobs since they gain effectiveness at higher levels (a few exceptions, especially with samurai I hear).

Edit: But the important thing is to have fun, and a mixed subjob is better than no subjob at all I say.
